India has announced the team for the West Indies tour. For the tour starting June 23, four major changes have been made in the Indian team. While Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah are rested on the one hand, Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant have been given the opportunity.
India will play a T20 match, including five ODIs against the West Indies. The captain of the team is in the hands of Virat Kohli. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also guide the team. India will play the first one on June 23 while the last July 6, while their only T20 match will be on July 9. India is currently playing the Champions Trophy in England. On Thursday, he is facing Bangladesh. If India wins this match, then it will face Pakistan in the final. There is also the fiance of fans that they can again see a high voltage match between the two countries.
Explain that Vinod Rai, President of the Board of Governors of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has also made it clear that Anil Kumble will continue as coach of Team India for the West Indies tour. Earlier it was said that Kumble’s tenure would end after the Champions Trophy. Team India’s tour of West Indies starts on 23rd June, where India has to play five ODIs and one T20 matches. Just a few days back, the BCCI had also said that it would take more time to find the new coach of Team India and hence, Kumble will remain the main coach of Team India for the time being.
